Here at The Archive, you can rest assured that your privacy is our utmost concern. Please contact us for any questions, concerns, or comments. What will my e-mail address be used for?
What about those cookies? We use cookies to keep you logged into the site. We also keep track of site statistics with cookies so we can improve our websites (see Google Analytics below).Game Statistics In order to improve our games and make them as good as possible, we collect information about your in-game experience and what in-game actions you perform. We use self-hosted statistics systems for this running on our own servers. Personally identifiable statistics are not shared with third parties, however, aggregate information may be shared (for instance, we might make a dev blog post showing average level playtimes, etc). In addition, the Unity game engine (which powers some of our games such as Dragon Audit and March of Industry) collects some data itself on behalf of Unity and their partners. You can read their privacy policy (which includes a list of this data) here. Credit Card If you opt to pay for game currency with a credit card, we do not store or process your full credit card number -- the payment is handled externally through Stripe. If you opt to remember the card, we will store on our servers the last four digits of your card number and the expiry date. Stripe's privacy policy is located here. Google Analytics We use Google Analytics to get information about how you use our site. Google Analytics collects information such as how often users visit this site, what pages they visit when they do so, and what other sites they used prior to coming to this site. We use this information to improve our web site and deliver better service to you. To do this, it stores third party cookies. Google Analytics collects information anonymously. It does not collect personally identifiable inforation, and we do not combine this data with any personally identifiable information. It reports website trends without identifying individual visitors. You can opt out of Google Analytics without affecting how you visit our site – for more information on opting out of being tracked by Google Analytics across all websites you use, visit this opt-out page, or learn more about Google's Privacy Policy.
